Fire Talks

Shaina: There is a big fire in camp and the fireman are sleeping in my house and Rabbi Brod is making them food!

Chaim Hillel: My totty said that even president Bush went to see the fires!

Morah Dassy: Who is president Bush?

Chaim Hillel: (shrug) I dont know!

Morah Dassy: We have to daven to Hashem that no one will get hurt from the fires and that the people will be able to get new homes really soon!

Rafi: Why dont they just fix the houses that are broken?

Introducing.....Yeshiva Boys Choir!

Making Play-Do

Today we made our very own play-do!

Here is how you do it:
1 cup cold water
1 cup salt
2 tsp. vegetable oil
paint or food coloring
3 cups flour
2 tbsp corn starch
Mix first four ingredients,

then gradually add flour and cornstarch.
We chose two colors of paint ,
blue and red.
When we mixed them together we got purple play-do!

This is how our song goes:

When you mix blue and red

you get purple!

Red String for Yud Aleph Cheshvon

In honor of Rachel Imeinus Yartzeit

we had a special treat- red string (licorice)

like they have at Kever Rochel!

Rochel Imeinu was a very special tzadeikis.

She was Yakov Avinus wife.

She had two kids, Yosef and Binyamin.

She was buried in Eretz Yisroel, on the road,

so that we could go there to daven.

Now many yidden go to daven

for whatever they need and whatever they want.

We dipped animal crackers in chocolate,

and sprinkles,

and then put them in the chocolate cake taiva!

As you can see,

not all the animals made it in the taiva,

the temptation was too great!
